In 2013, I bought a Harley 25 motor launch. It was designed by TT Marshall (Nelson, Halmatic) with a lot of similarities to their smaller Duver 23, and built by Harley Raceboats in Cowes. It had been used by the builder as a test-bed and workboat so although the hull and structure were sound it was rather spartan in fit-out. It had been fitted with a Yanmar 260HP and Mercruiser out-drive which was more than enough. As she was:

My plan was to use this as the basis of building my dream gentleman’s fishing cruiser. I designed a new interior, sub-contracted some of the more specialist work like stainless welding and grp mouldings, and did most of the remaining work myself over the next two years. You can follow the full re-fit story on my blog.
