Got out Saturday and Sunday this week. Saturday was a mid channel trip looking for new grounds. It was productive and we managed Cod from the very first drop. No photos of the trip, as it was a slow take it easy day with majority of Cod being returned with only gut hooked fish being kept. I guess we landed about 15 of them, a couple of Pollock and not a lot else.
Sunday we went out again after helping a friend relaunch his freshly antifouled boat. We ran as a pair and soon arrived at the bank we intended to drift for Bass. A great day with suitable rewards in the form of a 6lb and a 5.5lb bass. Caroline pictured with her bass and my Bass. 🙂 Mine being the larger one..
